Ever wonder about the synagogue on Fairmount in Butchers Hill? According to the history of the neighborhood on the Butchers Hill website, between 1920 and 1940 the neighborhood included many Jewish immigrants: doctors, tailors, rabbis, grocers. The Jewish Museum on Lloyd St. will be a great place to learn. We can start with lunch at Attman’s (1019 E.Lombard), the museum’s official deli (!) for anyone who wishes.
$8 admission
We can catch the #65 at Patterson Park and Pratt. Fare is $1 each way for Seniors. If you want to ride together, be there at noon to catch the 12:12.
Or meet us at Attman’s (1019 E Lombard) by car or on foot at 12:30.
