Housing as We Age Discussion - Follow Up Meeting

A follow up meeting with reports back from our sub committees on the questions we asked last time (below). This time we’ll meet at the Cedar House in Patterson Park.

One decision, or series of decisions, we all need to consider as we age is how our housing needs will change as we age. You may be pondering such questions as: 

• How should I modify my existing house so I can stay in it longer? 

• If I want to have someone come live with me, for either financial or care-giving reasons, what do I need to know?

• Are there co-housing options nearby? And how it that different from sharing my home?

• What other housing options are available?
