Housing as We Age

One decision, or series of decisions, we all need to consider as we age is how our housing needs will change as we age. You may be pondering such questions as: 

• How should I modify my existing house so I can stay in it longer? 

• If I want to have someone come live with me, for either financial or care-giving reasons, what do I need to know?

• Are there co-housing options nearby? And how it that different from sharing my home?

• What other housing options are available?

If you are thinking about any of these questions, please join Nancy Supik and Beth Braun for a discussion on how we, as What’s Next, can work together to answer these questions. The first meeting will be held on Sunday, October 4th, at 2:00 pm at Nancy’s house. We will spend time determining which areas of interest apply to those that attend—and how we can delve deeper into the topics. We expect there will be a series of [at least three] informative gatherings after that first meeting. And, depending on the interests of the group, potentially many more after the first set of meetings.
