Mark Supik will open up his woodturning shop for a tour and demonstration of woodturning on Thursday, October 2nd from 5:30-6:30. A chance to see how newel posts, balusters, chair legs and beer tap handles are made. Visit the beer taphandle museum, see an 1890's Band Saw still in operation, and decide if you'd like to try woodturning yourself one day. Then we'll head over to Monument City Brewing for a beer and pizza (if you want to order one from the place next door). The shop is at 1200 N. Macon St. (head north on Haven Street and cross Monument Street). Parking lot awaits you. Monument City Brewing is at 1 N. Haven Street, just at the intersection of Baltimore and Haven. If you want to skip the tour and just meet for a beer, that's fine too. Mark Supik & Co. Woodturning
