Glenstone Museum, in Potomac, Maryland, is a private contemporary art museum located on beautiful grounds, outdoor installations scattered throughout, and an exhibit hall with selections from the owners’ collection. Glenstone has reopened its main exhibition space, closed for renovations when WN last visited. Artists include Diane Arbus, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Katharina Fritzsch and Claes Oldenberg. (Know their work or not, you’ll enjoy looking).
We have tickets reserved for Sunday 10 a.m. April 6. Admission is free, but there’s a great cafe on the grounds where we could buy lunch. We will carpool, leaving Baltimore 8:45 a.m. (Driving volunteers welcome). RSVP to Susan Sterett at hello@whatsnextbaltimore.org
