Memorial Mosaic Workshop

Mosaics lend themselves to gathering odd bits and pieces to form a finished piece. Like memories, we create a beautiful whole of these small things with our focused attention. Join Cinder Hypki for a conversation about the many ways to honor our ancestors and other loved ones, and then to make a beautiful mosaic keepsake.  We'll brainstorm designs for mosaics that reflect what made our loved ones special to us. Bring your own small bits of ephemera to embed if you like and access all the beautiful materials in my studio.  Leave with a finished piece! 

Workshop hours include lunch break.Bring lunch or order from Tandav our Indian food neighbor or Restaurante El Salvador, our around-the-corner neighbor! Cinder will provide coffee, water and tea; bring any other beverages you desire.

Note: contact Cinder at least one week prior if you wish to incorporate a photograph into your piece.  Photos must be 4 x 6 at the largest. RSVP
