Please join us for a Zoom interactive presentation on urban butterfly and pollinator conservation by Chris Calabretta who lives in the Canton neighborhood of east Baltimore. Chris recently attained a Monarch Waystation Certification from the MonarchWatch organization for his commitment to maintaining a butterfly-sustaining habitat with his row home gardens located in the front and back patio area of his home.  Chris is an avid urban gardener and has counted as many as 6-10 different species of bees buzzing around & pollinating his garden, as well as about 10+ different species of butterflies. His garden is also host to visitors such as dragonflies, beetles, praying mantis, and other helpful garden insects that help promote healthy gardens consisting of native pollinating plants.
