Winter Solstice Walk (Ukulalas along the route)

Wednesday night, December 21, 2022 is the longest night of the year. Butchers Hill, Upper Fells and Fells Prospect neighbors, like many cultures throughout the ages, celebrate an annual ritual to encourage the sun to return. You can join us to help make that happen. Sign up to decorate your windows with brightly backlit silhouettes at https://tinyurl.com/2p8hjch7. An online map that you can follow to view the marvelous luminaries that you and your neighbors have created. Remember to bring bells and whistles and pots and pans to show your appreciation at each house and to encourage the light to return to our hill. Can't make it to Solstice Eve? Some of our participants will illuminate their windows and continue the festivities into the New Year.

The walk begins at Charmed Kitchen at 5:30. The new Community Choir will perform at Charmed at 5:30 and from 6:30-7, The Ukulalas will serenade passersby in front of 2223-2225 E. Pratt St.
