Baltimore in the 1950's: A Mid-Century look at People, Places, and Priorities
In a decade of dramatic change, the 1950’s in Baltimore largely reflected the changes occurring nationwide. Baltimore rebuilt, restored, revised and occasionally endured a series of changes that forever changed the fabric of the city. This unexpectedly dynamic decade made lasting, fundamental changes to the way people lived and where they lived to gain employment.
This program will be presented by Jack Burkert from the Baltimore Museum of Industry, and will be held across the street from the Canton Branch at the Dnipro Ukranian Club at 3101 O'Donnell Street, Baltimore, MD 21224.
